Outlook Express Instructions

1) open Outlook express

2) Click on Tools

3) select accounts from the menu

4) Select the mail Tab

To set up new mail account

Click on ADD- mail

Follow the prompts and include the requested information.  

When you get to E mail name servers

you need the following.

My Income mail server is a" POP3 " server

Incoming mail server " mail.yourdomain.com "

Out going mail server " mail.yourdomain.com

Click next.

account name.  This is the e mail name you created in your Control panel,

Password.  This is the password you gave the e mail account above.

Click on Finish. You will now see the new account created.  

If you wish to change the showing name of this new account.  Click on properties and just type in the new name.

Once you have done the above you need to 

Click on the e mail account name and then properties.

Select the " Servers " tab

Check the details are correct, ( as above ) 

At the bottom you will see " my server requires authentication " check the box by the side, and then click settings.

Check the " use same settings as my incoming mail server

Click " ok " - " apply " " ok "  then the close tab.

You are now all set up.

 

Changing settings on e mail account

1) click on the e mail account you wish to change.

2)  click on properties.

3) select the " Servers " tab. 

change the incoming mail POP3 to " mail.yourdomain.com

and the Outgoing mail to " mail.yourdomain.com

At the bottom you will see " my server requires authentication " check the box by the side, and then click settings.

Check the " use same settings as my incoming mail server

Click " ok " - " apply " " ok "  then the close tab.

You are now all set up.
